"As we all know, the SEC would invite us and OU in a heartbeat into the conference for expansion if we were open to it."
They're way too used to offers being contingent on prior knowledge of acceptance
“Honestly [tu's offer] doesn’t really matter though because I won’t go there. I won’t even visit." “I want to play big time ball in the SEC"
"My buddy is the brother-in-law of someone who is very much in the know"
That sounds rock solid legit. Absolutely.
Remember when Deloss tried to float out there that the ACC wanted them, and then the President of the ACC couldn't get to the podium fast enough to say that they had zero interest in a school that wanted the structure Texas wanted?
That's basically the case with every conference and Texas. They are without options.
Jesus somebody got trolled hard. I'd like to shake whoevers hand was responsible for that.
Yes, the SEC would take Texas in a heartbeat when the Pac 12, Big 10 and ACC have all said no within the last 2 years. Tell us some more about your knowledge of the pact to block in-state expansion, sipper.
Are you kidding? I could hear that arrow a mile away.
From IH-35 to IH-10... what then?
Welp, obviously they have no idea what Slive will have each school do w their third tier rights...
Validity test of any source...they will have to know that ou and oklahoma state share a board of directors...therefore...package deal. One cannot go without the other. SEC wants one school from a state...not two teams from a state with small tv market gain.
