Texas A&M 2014 WR commitment Jamal Jeffery will be part of a big Lufkin group that will make its way to Austin for Sunday's junior day. Jeffery said he remains committed to the Aggies, but he feels he needs to weigh all his options.
"I'm just going to visit the school, see how they look, hang out with my teammates. I've never been to Texas," Jeffery said. "I'm committed. I'm just keeping my options open, really."
Adams has not yet visited Texas A&M. As for what he knows/likes about UT?
"With Texas, I know they're a big powerhouse. I'll see more this weekend."
The 5-10, 180-pound Jeffery lists his strengths as his hands and his ability to make people miss and make plays in the middle of the field. He said he committed to Texas A&M because he likes that the Aggies pass a lot and likes that they had a good season last year. SMU has also invited him to visit its campus, but he's not sure of any other visits besides the one to Texas on Sunday.
Someone needs to give these kids a fuckin dictionary. "I'm committed" does not = "keeping my options open".
They keep options open, and A&M will do the same.. The state has too many talented guys, and A&M has shown we can recruit nationally specifically for the WR position.ll
All good. One slot WR won't make or break this class. Not even close. In other words, have fun kid. We're going to be great with or without you.
Not sure why he'd visit unless he's our inside spy that will be recruiting.
Meh, our 2nd lowest commit would be a big deal for them. Plenty of WR's instate next year, not to mention the depth we currently have on roster.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Jeffrey, trust me when i say this, you do NOT want to play this game with the Cobra.
USMC- Breaking shit since 1775
“Honestly [tu's offer] doesn’t really matter though because I won’t go there. I won’t even visit." “I want to play big time ball in the SEC"
...who the heck seriously knows except God, and Sumlin. ~ Aggiemom6
Do not care, cut him.
1. He's replaceable.
2. Do not need the PR spin if he flips.
Are you kidding? I could hear that arrow a mile away.
Never understood why you commit when you are not completely sure.
Bingo. It's not like anything major happened since he committed, as was the case with someone like Mastrogiovanni (A&M blew up and OU blew chunks). He knows what program he chose and the reasons he chose to commit here and nothing has changed since then. I say cut him if he wants to "weigh his options." He'd be welcomed back if he wanted to come back of course, but his spot would certainly be up for grabs if someone else wanted on board. If you're committed be committed. If not, then don't say you are.
