I'd like to see if Roddy White and Gonzalez make it through preseason healthy.
Yeah the report looks legit. He should have gone with Pawlenty.
lol. Gonzales needs to start eating animal protein!!
Hakeem won two championships fasting and eating rice. C'mon, que.
Touche! As a native Houstonian, I vividly remember those Clutch City teams, Hakeem balling during Ramadan and celebrating back to back championships on Richmond & Hillcroft when HPD closed down the streets.
I like the Falcons but Ryan isn't elite QB yet.
I also think Joe Biden has the runs this morning. The Ryan/Biden debates will be a bloodbath.
Aint that the truth.
The Ryan-Biden debate won't be a bloodbath. Old Joe while known for the occasional foot in mouth quote will hold is own against the younger, less-experienced Ryan. Ryan is great at delivering speeches, talking points but he isn't the best impromptu speaker in a press conference, Q&A/Follow-Up format. The acid test will be when he does interviews on non-Fox, non-friendly, non-softball shows.
Personally, I think Romney knew he was loosing and pulled a McCain. He reached for someone to shake up the race. A "game changer". The challenge is congressmen rarely move the ticket. It does nothing for the women & hispanic gap. It probably gives Obama FL if the "ending social security as we know it" position sticks. Romney will compete in WI but Obama will likely still win it. Also, it doesn't move the trendlines in the West (CO, IA & NM). PA will be interesting because Ryan is a Catholic.
Barring something unforeseen, I don't think this pick changes the election. Obama wins popular vote 52%-48 and electoral college ~310-330 (270 needed). The real interesting debate is going start around 2013. when you have Pawlenty, Ryan, Palin, McDonnell, Christie, Rubio all jockeying to win the nomination in 2016.
You don't know what the hell you are talking about. Ryan has been great on Meet the Press, This Week, CNN, etc. He's a phenominal debater. He is one of the few people in Washington who understands and can articulate how incredibly fucked this country's fiscal situation has become. He is also the only person in Washington who has the balls to present a plan to tackle our fiscal problem and not leave it to the other side to present their's first and use it as a target.
I guess you prefer spineless politicians like your boy Obama. You need to get a fucking clue.

Ryan is on Hardball all the time.
With that said, I'm not a big Romney fan. Bush and Obama are right there with Jimmy Carter in terms of worst presidents of all time. Not sure Romney would be better.
I disagree. How has the guy who accomplished so much been considered the worst president of all time? I am a big time Obama critic but I think the expectations were unrealistic. Obama didn't walk on water but his marketing led us to believe that simply electing him would change the trajectory of the recession, lead to bipartisanship, etc. America's financial house has been on this course for decades not Obama's first two-years in office.
Reality is Obama would have been better served sand-bagging (under-promise and over-deliver). He inherited messes on every front (financial sector, auto-industry, wars, recession, etc). He attempted to work with negotiate with congressional terrorists hellbent on saying no to everything just to avoid giving Obama and Democrats a "win". The much-panned stimulus should have been bigger and not included tax cuts but Obama gave in to the Republican demands and they still voted in block "no".
Obama has his limitations but he's done well considering the hand he was dealt.
You are a troll...you have to be. Nobody can make the claims you make and be serious.
Ryan isn't impressive. It's all scripted responses to the questions. He never strays from the same boiler-plate responses.
To be honest, I think he's a fraud - intellectually and fiscally. Miami University in Oxford, OH doesn't appear to be intellectually rigorous. I'm not saying one needs to be Ivy-league educated to be considered an intellectual but why not UW or regional state universities such as Michigan, Ohio State, etc. Maybe he slept through high school but i am leery of "wonks" suddenly waking up and considering to be experts, smart, credible, etc.
His fiscal sanity path follows the same sleep/wake-up path. Ryan voted the party-line on all the unfunded items that created the deficit - tax cuts, TARP, Medicare Drug Benefit, wars all of which added $4T to the deficit. When did he get religion? Is he for real or hypocrite and opportunist?

Barack Obama is the worst president in the history of the United States and it's not even close. If we don't get rid of the bum this November, I fear the country is lost -- we will not survive four more years of this fool.
Somebody has been drinking the MSNBC/CNN koolaid.
Perhaps the "scripted responses" are actually what he thinks. Novel idea, right?
Voting no to appropriate an incremental $7.5 T to Social Security contributed to the problem? Voting no to appropriate $40 B to energy and water conservation contributed to the problem? Voting no to appropriate $611 B to contribute incremental funds to Medicare and Medicaid contributed to the problem. I can go on.
Hardly "all items that created the deficit."
I still think you are trolling. If not, you are incredibly stupid.
Seems to be a common malady for those on the left these days.
