If we beat OU tomorrow. Big12 blows.
All them dumbasses that say the SEC is overrated well look what we got here a blowout of their best team....
Who cares about final ranking if you're not #1?
I care. Just sayin'
Helps with next year rankings. Less people you have to jump the better.
b/c it matters for next years pre-season ranking. Pre-season rankings shouldn't even exist imho, but.....
if you start at #6 and lose 1 game (depending on when/who you lose that game too, you could be playing in the MNC)
if you start out at 15 and have the exact same season you could be playing in the Cotton Bowl
Exactly. This is why it is good we are playing Alabama so early as well. If we do lose, we would still have a shot to climb back up in the rankings by the end of the season.
Me - a success starved, die hard Ag...
I care. A lot. I promise you our program cares too. You're in the minority with your pretend coach speak. Ghey
Thrownhill only cares if we are ranked number 1. She sees no difference with being ranked number 5 or number 105. Not a big deal to her.
Worst post of the young, new year.
That reminds me of Ricky Bobby "If you're not first you're last!!!" hahaha
We haven't finished a season ranked in the top 5 since Bear Bryant was our HC. I damn sure want that top 5 ranking just to break that stigma. And our damn Bowl curse F-in a.
Wow, downvotes and everything. This thread has a texags feel to it. Oh well, enjoy that final ranking, ladies. Its paramount to next season's success, as indicated by the fact that a preseason unranked Notre Dame squad is currently #1 and playing in the BCS championship. BTHO OU.
And they got lucky that Baylor beat KState, Oregan lost to Stanford, and we beat Alabama. Otherwise they would be looking in from the outside.
