Are y'all into, just curious cause im in the minority that is metal music
Probably in the majority--Texas country. I love the old stuff too--waylon, merle, hank, willie, etc. etc. I just bought me and the fiancee tickets to see George Strait in New Orleans in April
R&B, rock, slow jamz, not much country anymore and rap is lost to me know. anything that I can get hyped to ill listen to really.
Kendrick is on point! Very underrated artist.
Yah his new album is great.
Curren$y is my favorite rapper though
I'll be there as well
Where you staying?
Blues (Buddy Guy, SRV, Albert Collins, Freddy King, Bonnie Raitt) and classic rock. (dire straits, TP & the heartbreakers, Clapton, Skynyrd, Hendrix)
Kendrick is fantastic. If you havent heard his other album, Section.80, I highly highly recommend it.
Blu & Exile
As far as R&B goes, I'm a HUGE fan of The Weeknd. He's just on another level.
I like Classical (especially piano), Motown, some Soul and R&B, picked up a little country during my years at Aggieland, enjoy some older techno/older rap/older hip hop (haven't been impressed with the future of those genres post graduation.) And i have the odd smattering of metal/rock/alternative
Thanks & Gig 'Em

The Weeknd is on another level. The Trilogy comes out in a few weeks. Just his three mixtapes with a few new songs.
If you're a fan of The Weeknd, give a listen to Miguel's new album Kaleidoscope Dream. Best R&B album of the year.
Also 'We Don't Even Live Here' by P.O.S. is awesome. Kind of a rap/punk sound to it. Give it a spin.
I live an hour south at the mouth of the river. Do not stay at the holiday inn superdome. We stayed there for TimMcGraw & Kenny. Terrible. The Hyatt next door where we're planing on staying. I'm old enough not to want to go to Burbon Street afterwards. So close is. Nice. Since its the last tour we paid up for front row seats. Ouch!
I use to go to beer joints and actually dance to George. There was a small dance hall in Brenham called Silver Wings, he was basically the House Band that night. A historical moment in'84 he played in Bryan at what was named for 1 night the "Heavy Metal Colosium" at an oil field warehouse off the bypass, Dirt floors and we all danced all ight, we all left black with dust.
If you need any info about coming to town let me know.

I listen to pretty much everything except for emo crap.
Jamming to old school Outkast right now.
...who the heck seriously knows except God, and Sumlin. ~ Aggiemom6
I already have Trilogy pre-ordered! The videos for Rolling Stone and Wicked Games are loaded with Symbolism. Have you heard the song "Enemy" he leaked a week ago? And I'm also a big Miguel fan. And I'll have to check out that song also!
I love me some Outkast. ATLiens is still my jam.
I'll let you know jbar
No Frank Ocean fans? Channel Orange is probably my favorite album this year.
Frank Ocean is great, as was that album. He is the only one in Odd Future worth a damn.
