Disappointed in so many Ags on here giving away the Bama game.
Come on Ags, let em hang.
Maybe posting's just not your game. I know, let's have a spelling contest.
LSU , BAMA , FLA, UGA, any of those 4 from the sec
ohio state, from big 10 a real possibility.
Oregon from out west
Outside shot at any ACC team that can run the table but they MUST be undefeated
dont know hiw good okla. Or texas are but they will get hyped up and big 12 seems down so if they can make it unscaved outside shot
All the usual players I would assume. A&M has a shot cause of the soft schedule but as I said before I think there will be some regression from you guys however you are recruiting well so potentially 3 years down the road yoy will make some waves
apparently you really don't understand the Johnny Manziel affect
you probably stare at depth charts, rosters, analyzing every detail & what you deem as "key" losses meanwhile ignoring the freak player who's worth about 3 or 4
A&M has a very real shot this year, much more real than LSU, & a real shot in that realm of Auburn circa 2010/11
No offense, but UL has about as much chance playing for the championship as your average Conference USA team. Because...well...that's their schedule:
They won’t beat a ranked team all year because they won’t play one. They have no chance to play in the BCS Championship. None.
I think you're over valuing Manzeil ala of Florida with Tim Tebow a few years back not that he's not a good player he just doesn't have the measurables he won't have as good a talent or the pass blocking or Kingsbury with him this year. You really think he is unstoppable andthat is a mistake
Jake Mathews and Ced O is not much of a drop off from Luke and Jake, some say Jake is better than Luke even, so pass blocking at the worst is slightly a downgrade. Kingsbury showed an unwillingness to run the ball, McKinney, in granted his one game, realized the advantage with our Oline and Johnny and exploited it. Now add in two more stud backs to go with a returning starter and contributing freshman....I guess my point is that A&M will now be a more complete team, and teams focusing on Johnny will get a rude awakening
A&M talent wise is going to be even or up as well, for sure at RB and WR, LB and DL will be more talent but less experience, CB and OL i think remain where they were....so yea your points are off base
Your logic is boggling my mind
What he said. Plus B. Williams and T. Williams are gonna be nasty. Tra a Bruiser and we all know what malena can do. JaQuay will be an upgrade on EZ IMO. Evans is a beast.
The longhorns will win 7 games this fall...
Agree. The only thing is we have a lot of questions on D. We were never planning to be a D powerhouse this year tho, so it will all come down to offense. If johnny picks up where he left off last year and D can get some turnovers we have 1 game we could legitimately lose (Bama).
Whether we reach our potential in that regard is where ppl (especially longhorns and aggies) will differ and disagree.
And I've got A&M winning at least 10 games... And LSU taking a surprising nose dive. Mainly bc of a slow start offense and their inability to put points on the board.. And bad QBing. Bringing in an OC from NFL isn't going to do a thing.
Sorry just not really buying it guys that said I only think a&m loses 2 games this year to lsu and bama but still not enough to get you guys over the hump. This isnt an attack session and you will have to make your money on offense with your d being suspect but yhis is typically a receipt for failure in the sec. You guys will score points just not enough. Your offense will be worse not better there is no doubt about that, just to many losses there and your own fans admit that your d isnt that good. Please dont attack me about how great your team is and I appreciate the guys that present a thoughtful argument the other way. With your schedule anything can happen though good luck to you
I really don't see our offense being worse considering the progression Johnny and the entire offense made as the season went on last year...they have now had a year in the system, plus better talent to put in that system in the incoming freshmen...we will see...
You had too many run on sentences. You're good now.
Just don't see it with LSU.. Their stadium was dead empty vs. Miss State and the Ole Miss games... No one was there and their fans didn't give a shit about those games bc they dropped a game to Bama.
LSU will lose a game early, and their fans will jump right off the band wagon. LSU's main problem is that they have a sucky QB and a bad offensive scheme. NFL doesn't work in college. Can't win the SEC with a bad QB.
so we add RB Brandon Williams, who's a third year guy now
Trey Williams in his second year, Ja'Quay Williams who's second year & was one of the best players in Georgia & Cam Clear, who's a JUCO & basically everyone else gets older. Luke's a loss but we have an OL pipeline & are still placing high NFL guys at Tackles
I bet we lose a step on D but gain 2 on offense
we'll be in the mix Tiger, LSU's the one who'll lose a real step
No doubt the schedule is a joke, but if they go undefeated and there is only one other undefeated school.... They will be in the mix. Heisman candidate, preseason top 10 ranking. Sucks but the only way they don't get in with that scenario is if an SEC team with one loss that won the SEC championship can stake claim
Stadiums always empty for those ganes cause they are terrible. death valley is the toughest place to play in the country especially at night when crazy things happen. Look how many night games lsu has lost there under miles. Your offense cant help but be worse your running back situation may be better but you dont have a big boy running game yet offensive line is worse despite you wanting to believe it not. You lost 4 of your top 5 receivers and switched offensive coordinators which despite everyone's cries is not good for a high powered offense. It just appears to me that your being fans and not being rational about the situation. LSU returns every major player on offense except center the defensive line will be very strong ( however not as deep which is where a&m's opportunity will be to where down the starters ) this is the best and deepest linebacker corps lsu has had since miles has been there and though reid has left the back end is looking very strong with mills and collins who both had extended playing time and showed major improvements late in the year to be headed up by lostin and martin. LSU will not be as down as you hope and a&m will not be as good as you hope. Just trying to give you guys some stuff to think about. Hammer away aggie fans I will respond back tomorrow
