Anyone ever left their kids behind to go work overseas? If so how did it turn out?
Just got an offer to go to Madrid for a year then go to Saudi until 2017. Just wondering if anyone had any in site
Ask if you can swap areas and times. Saudi first then Madrid.

wod chemical, eh?
My dad has worked oversees for five years now flying for Korean Air. I'm sure it is a completely different situation because he gets eleven set days off per month to come home and he also gets a few dfw layovers a month. Overall he is making crazy good money and really loves it. Of course it would be nice for him to be back more but it's not a bad setup. I'm the oldest at 18 and have two siblings 16 and 13. We adjusted pretty well to our father being gone a lot. It's going to take a while to adjust but overall it shouldn't be too bad. I'm on my way out the door kinda had to write this quickly.
