at Tennessee. Just read this so i dont know if it is 100% true but the website is pretty darn accurate so far. what are yalls thoughts on the SEC moving more towards the offensive show with A&M, Auburn, and if Tenn picks up Gundy?
Clearly our performance this year has piqued the interest of schools that need to jump start their programs. Defense still wins championships, but a great offense will get you competing for those championships before a great defense does, if that makes sense. You've got to be able to score on the great defenses and they want to exploit the spread offense to do so. I think Gundy and Briles would be great hires for an SEC program trying to get out of neutral.
I am glad Briles took the Baylor extention. You give him a TU or SEC team and that offense gets real dangerous. He cant find a defense though. Guess he focuses too much on Offense. Same with Gundy.
Clearly they would need to make big-boy DC hires if they were to make a move. I'm shocked Briles hasn't left yet. Maybe he is waiting on tech, but I think he's got bigger plans.
Id stay at okie St if I were him. Id go after strong if I were UT.
Strong already accepted another raise at Bama and turned down the Auburn job. He is gonna wait on Saban to leave
You're thinking Smart. Strong is at Louisville.
touche. haha. too many s's. Idk if he leaves Lville with them making a move to the ACC.
If the Big12 is so great, why would any Big 12 coach want to move to the SEC?
Louisville is a bball school. Strong will have all he needs at UT. I don't see how he would turn down UT even if Louisville somehow offers him more money.
Ya I agree. I think briles thinks he can turn gaylor around. New stadium. Stud transfers. Decent recruiting class. TU is on a downward trend. Tech is tech. OU is also not what they once were.
Gundy turned Tennessee down - he's staying.
Yes, ESPN thinks it might be Strong to Tennessee.
If Gundy turned it down, and ESPN says Strong is the leader, that means it'll be Fedora or someone none of us expect, so that means the following is bound to happen:
1. Strong to Wisconsin
2. Petrino to Louisville... Again!
Fuk it. I'll go coach Tennessee I guess
