The fact that repetitively demonstrates that he has no command of the A&M players on the field, (just by number) is reason enough. Good play-by-plays guys usually have that command. "That guy" doesn't really cut it for me.

Dave South personifies texas A&M football to me. Grew up listening to him in an era we got 4 maybe 5 games on TV tops.

Dave South has dedicated his life to Texas A&M and is more of an Aggie than most of you 2 percenters who keep ragging on him. He's earned the right to leave on his own terms. He's just fine as a radio guy if you have any kind of imagination. The problem is that most of you don't.

he's old enough already... he should think of the school he's supposedly serving all his life... think of saving himself for retirement and grandkids, and saving the school some embarrassment in its new league. imagine SEC fans tuning in on their visit while they're tailgating or on their way to the game... the horror!

No one is entitled to a salaried position in perpetuity when they cant do their job.

None of us are being paid to do better. Fact is he's just not very good.
