not hating but I bet money LSU or Texas doesn't offer. Oklahoma St will be his ticket.

LSU asked him to come down for an offer.. Never showed.. Also he was the original DB invited to rivals top 100 camp this year. Only 20 sophomores this year. I had to inform them that Darrion wouldn't be coming, that was after he booked his flight.. Then they replaced him with Tony Brown. Darrion is highly thought of, just alot of ppl that think he won't leave the state..

I think the summation of this thread should be that your bro is good. We want him, but it's early and there are a lot of studs at his position for '14. Every school is playing the game and figuring out who they want and who they can realistically get. I honestly think you and your bro would make great ags. LSU is like A&M but sucks academically and doesn't provide the same outside-of-football job prospects. Close to home. Both laid-back southern cultures. Their advantage is recent success as a team and putting super star DBs in the league. A lot of texas talent has gone there to ride pine and get a degree that's worth less than the paper it's printed on tho.

Why isn't he showing to those camps if you don't mind me asking?

He Put a lockdown on July visits for hom.

He's not in trouble, he just had something he had to take care of.. He's a teenager. Texas has him a top guy but they want to see how he moves forward with this.. Also they made it clear that you have to go to Austin to be approved.. He hasn't been... He didn't go to camps in june because I locked him down..

I agree daddy his stock has dropped, but it was in the spring.. Good thing he is a beast in pads.. But I'll have to call to see if there are any camps.. Thanks guys..

btw, I am not a hater. I stated I would probably take him as a commit although I would want to see a bit more tape.

Bhorn...chill bro, it's all good. The bottom line is this: Darrion's stock is falling because he has not attended any camps, whereas the other top DBs in the state have and have been performing well. I have no doubt about his ability, hell I've seen it and the kid can play. The problem is that he is at a standstill until teams see his SR tape since he has not been to camps. Coaches want to see what he can do against the top WRs at these camps. Again, Darrion is a great player and once he dominates during the season, the offers will come.
