Ever Had a Wreck...

  • that was your fault? I've had numerous wrecks through my life that were never my fault, until yesterday! When I was 19 I had my first wreck all by myself at 1am out in the middle of nowhere, down an old dirt road. Fast forward 20 yrs and numerous accidents later I'm at fault again. Tried to turn left in between cars that stopped at a red light that was about 20 yards ahead of them. They were polite enough to allow room for me to pass and even waved me through. As I'm turning I'm looking through all the on-coming traffic's windows looking for cars in the far outside lane. Looked good so I proceeded then here comes one of those low to the ground cars. Bang! My fault. Can't believe I was that stupid.

  • I had one when I was 15 and first got my license. Was stopped at a cross street and pulled out and hit a guy that was turning. I thought he had passed by but he slowed to turn and I started without looking. My fault completely but he didn't have his blinker on.

  • i had a wreck when i was 17 that was my fault, i rear ended a small nissan truck in front of me in traffic so it was only $300 to get it fixed so just paid him out of pocket rather than put it on my insurance. Last year though i let a buddy borrow my 96 dodge ram 1500( loved it, my first truck out of 4 vehicles also first vehicle to have AC and it was my first standard) and he totaled it in beeville, tx. luckily his insurance gave me lie $1200 dollars more than i paid for it but now i have a shittly little s-10 so its nots the same.

  • I hit a car turning out of Buffalo Wild Wings in CS that was technically my fault (she had the blinker on the wrong way but even though she signaled wrong she still had the right of way). There was a cop right behind us that immediately flipped on his lights and got out. The other driver must have been drinking though because even though my truck straight nailed the front of her camaro, she said there wasn't any damage and drove off.

    Lucky day.

Beeville!! That first wreck I mentioned (when I was 19) was coming home from there (The Grand I think was the name of the bar/dance hall). Took a girl home that lived out in the middle of BFE much later than her mother asked me to have her back. Luckily the wreck happened just after dropping her off. Her mother must have cast a spell on me for being late.

  • Im 16 and I've had one that was technically my fault. A girl about my age was driving when all of the sudden she just stopped in the middle of the road to make a left turn, no turn signal, no brake pumping, no anything. She just slammed the brakes and I had no time to react. I freaked out at first, but there really wasnt any damage. I almost think it made me a better driver, as I'm more attentive now. And get this, she said its the fourth time she's been rear ended, I think she needs to change her driving habits!

  • I hear Houston's really bad about people purposely slamming on their brakes just so the guy behind them runs into the back of them. They can claim their neck hurts, etc.
