That stat is interesting and also a good stat for the A&M staff to throw out there, well done on their part. But as an Oregon fan I contest that those 236 passing plays are completed passes, not attempts. Oregon attempted 386 passes over the year which is 38%, which is still a small number. But the 2 QBs that Oregon deployed threw for 39 touchdowns, which means that a touchdown was thrown around every 9.89 attempts. Compared to the Aggies 29 touchdown passes over the course of 537 attempts during the year, an average of 1 touchdown every 18.517 plays. Oregon drives on efficiency from both the passing and running games and that is what the staff sells to its recruits. What Oregon lacks in passing attempts, they make up for with passing touchdowns, which I as a recruit would value as a critical statistic, but then again I am biased. Good Luck with the rest of your recruiting process and in the SEC.

You chose to go to the SEC for money and to spurn Texas. The SEC accepted you to expand its footprint into the state of Texas. Also, not sure if you're in much of a position to rip Oregon for having a gimmicky offense as an earlier poster did when you're running a pass spread offense under Sumlin. Playing in the SEC (which you haven't done yet) doesn't necessarily make you a great team and bragging for other teams' accomplishments in your new division doesn't either. I like AM and hate Texas and definitely respect you guys for sticking it to them for trying to be bigger than the conference.
