I would think actual training time is very similar, just what you train is different. Wrestling is all about explosion in your legs, hips, and core, while being flexible and having a strong back. I would imagine MMA guys would take some of the legs/hips focus and attach it more to upper body because of the striking aspect.

One of my HS teammates went D-II wrestling for a year. We were on one of the best teams in state (won it our SR year), and we were always one of the best conditioned teams. He said college, even at the D-II level, is just insane conditioning wise. During regular practice hours, they go "live" for 60 minutes multiple times a week. Technique is covered in extra time.
