He's going to silence a lot of critics

There is a lot of hype around certain players, especially QBs. It is interesting how much debate Ryan has stirred. All of the things you can measure are there:

Ryan is smart, great athlete, great arm, and 6-4. His WRs last year were terrible.

Remember how people couldn't just wait to take Vince Young? He had a great build, but he is NOT smart, bad arm and throwing motion. Not surprisingly, he ended up as a bust.

None of the QBs are a sure thing. RGIII is obviously an unbelievable athlete. If he gets great protection and has a lot of time, he's awesome. However, we have all seen that if you start pressuring him and especially if he gets hit, he is not a real warrior and has a tendency to quit.

I'm not quite so sure that Ryan won't out play either Luck or Griffin. Course this is completely dependent on who he goes to. If he goes to Miami, they have a pretty stellar defense, so that might be able to keep them close in most games. I'm worried, that with either option (Cleveland, Miami) he will have a total of zero weapons to give him any help. Miami has the better O-line so that will help keep him on his feet.

We'll really see how seriously the NFL takes him by where he is drafted. Could go in the top 10, but I could also see him slipping to the Chiefs at 11. Buffalo just hosted him yesterday. Hopefully he can do well for whoever drafts the kid.

Color me impressed. If it was a job interview he nailed it.

Hate on big Sherman all you want but his teaching has tannehill prepped for success. Best of luck to him

Gruden and Sherman come out of the same West Coast offense, so that certainly doesn't hurt Tanney in doing this show. They speak the same language.
