  • we need some 4 and 5 spot players when we seemed to an abundance at one time. now we are overloaded with guards. we can't play 4 guards and one forward/center. it does appear Middleton will declare for this year's NBA draft and Robertson will return whether he gets a medical redshirt or not from what I can suss out. great news on the PG from the JUCO ranks. we need 4 more of these in the PF/C positions.

    concerning recruit Blake McDonald from Klein High School in Spring, TX. There is no Klein High School there. There is a Klein Collins High School in Spring, TX but no player named Blake McDonald is on the roster. There is a sophomore on the Aggies team named Blake McDonlad whom played for a Klein High School Is this the same person and is this Klein high school in Aldine or Alief? I'm confused or is the info above wrong. please clarify. thanks.

  • 17 - that's the exact same amount of points Zach Kinsley averaged his junior year in New Orleans before he came over here and averaged 2 points a game in Kennedy's system his last and only year as an Aggie - senior. total meltdown or something?

  • glad to know an expert basketball man is amongst our posters. I was hoping we fill the void by surprise vacancies in our front court. in addition to whatever quality players sign on regardless of position. after the era of Billy and Turgeon success, this year was a constant slide downward taking a toll on team and fans alike.

  • Concerning Blake... He was a walk on last year. He earned a scholarship this year because apparently he is a warrior in practice. That's at least what I heard.

    I don't even know where to start with this post.

    First of all, there is a Klein High School in Spring, TX. Along with Klein Collins, Klein Oak, and Klein Forest.

    Second, Blake McDonald is not a recruit, he'll be a junior at A&M next season.

    Third, you don't need a plethora of PF/C in an offense that relies heavily on guard play. If we can get Space qualified for this year and with Roberson coming back we only need one more big to come in. We're in on a few at the moment so this should not be too big of a worry.

  • Hugh Honey... thank you for the clarification, I have been wondering how to approach that post for a couple of days now. You are probably the best bball poster on this site (excluding Aubrey). Thank for the info. Hopefully we can land Young, but if not then I'm sure we will grab another big.
