    I'm hoping that Texas A&M will represent Texas well in the SEC. There are too many good Aggies in my life for me to have ill will toward the school as a whole. (Regardless of some of the negativism I've witnessed on message boards - I know such negativism exists on all boards from all schools.)

  • Thanks Bexar. And yes, negativism exists on all boards. I've been slammed a little on your board. I've always liked Baylor. I think a have a severe soft spot for underdogs and I always root for them. I have been made that way by being an Astros fan my whole life. . . .

    I noticed that, but you've been quite civil over there (for the most part). I honestly enjoy the exchange of opinions, I'm just not a fan of the personal insults and childish name-calling (although I'm sure I've participated in some myself). Considering that Baylor and aTm's demographics aren't too drastically disimilar, it's kind of odd that there's as much vitriol as there is between the two groups.

  • Are you the person from your board who said the Legislature would cut A&M's percentage of the PUF and use the proceeds to reduce Texas gasoline prices by $0.25 per gallon...or was that somebody else?

    I enjoy the exchanges on other boards too. I try to stay civil but some people's comments really peeve me.
