take some nice vacations with your wife while you still can.... and enjoy sleeping in for the last days in your life that you'll ever be able to do so....
...once those kiddos start popping out, your vacations will pretty much consist of sea world or disney world and trips to grandma's/relatives only... no more Vegas, no more skiing, no more tropical island or beach resorts, and no international trips... if your wife has been dying to go to Italy or something, go now. even though she can't drink, you won't be able to afford it post-kids and you won't want to leave a kid for that long until they're in HS, and you definately won't want to bring them with you.
My wife is 4 months pregnant, really out of the blue. It's our first and it's comin fast .... Any words of wisdom for me?
U will be graded everyday of your married life. Never be mean to your children's mother. Let them be kids they become teenagers soon enough! Your reward will be your grandchildren.
One thing I'd add that a buddy told me right after our first is - don't worry, they won't break.
I think that's actually pretty good advice. Usually there's no need to keep 'em in a bubble. Plus, they need to learn that they can get back up after they fall down.
