As Vols fan, I would love to have this kid, but from his point of view, I cannot blame him at all for looking around. This is a great chance for him to stay near home and play for a really good up and coming team. The sad truth is that right now there is a great deal of craziness on the hill right now. I thought from jump street that TAM could come in and win quickly. Great base, great fans, cool traditions. JMO

I hate to lose him, but I could never fault a kid for staying close to home and play for a great team. Can't wait to see how you all fare against Bama. Don't want you to win, at least not this year, I prefer an SEC team in the National Championship and Bama is the lone unbeaten team in the SEC.

That said, I certainly hope he switches.

There is not any type of concrete information out about Dooley right now. The AD has said repeatedly that he doesn't evaluate his coaches until after the season. Personally, I believe that if Dooley wins out (Vols finish 7-5) and potentially a bowl win then he will get one more year. It's good for stability of the program and from a fiscal standpoint ($5 mil buyout). We might have a new defense coordinator if the D doesn't play better the rest of the way though.
