This all just seems odd. He came to CS covertly last weekend and this weekend and lied to the Texas websites and coaching staff. Has a very good opportunity to play early and be a contributor.

Now apparently some texas sites are saying that he is 100% committed and isn't that worried about playing time. WTF I hope he is still lying to those tools.

This is a good point. I have to think the horn's iron grip might be slipping a bit. Their commits used to be locked up, now TJ and HR looking around. HR doing it under the table and still welcome in Austin. I think things are changing. MB can not afford to cut HR loose. It also shows Brown's threats are not real. More of their commits will look around in the future.

This was another point I intended to put in my post.

Again, really feel like the move was the right one. The Texas staff was going to have a chance for a quick rebuttal (all that was seemingly necessary) regardless of whether we released the news.

I'm encouraged by the staff. In fact, this weekend has shown me more about their recruiting than any other since Sumlin's been here.

My tune won't sound as pretty if we lose Addison and/or thompson.
