My favorite is when they tell kids that if they come to camp they'll get an offer, and then when the kid doesn't even give Texas the tiime of day by showing up, they claim they passed on him.

Apparently they never wanted Samples either. Even though he was one of their very first offers.

I'm not saying Mack isn't a great recruiter but how good of a recruiter do you really have to be to sell the University of Texas to a high school kid? Every kid (at least from Texas already) wants to be in Austin and seems to want to play there. Their recruiting advantage is off the charts to begin with.
