I follow GigEm 247 way more than any other site for recruiting because Hamm is a boss, but Liucci posted this today on (another site). I'm sure Hamm was aware of this as well but haven't seen anything posted here so thought I'd share with you guys.
"Here's the bottom line: The Ags have had the inside track on Manning since AT LEAST since his official visit to A&M and I've been hearing that they've felt great about landing him since long before that. When things REALLY started to look good for A&M is in about the last three weeks. Why? Because Justin himself was telling recruiters from other schools thanks but no thanks and letting them know he was committing to Texas A&M. This is a young man who dearly wanted to keep his announcement a surprise but was also going out of his way to personally tell coaches that he had made his choice so they wouldn't waste their valuable time recruiting him. While steering you guys (which most of you caught) towards what was taking place, I also was very careful not to steal the moment from the young man. Obviously, the last 24 hours or so (once the OU recruiting crew got wind of it) have led to this news exploding on the web."

Welcome aboard and thanks for the details, and basically Taylor said we should feel good about this kid months ago, so he hasnt as much need to say that he knew it but didnt say it. Stick with Gigem247 and you'll get it all the forefront as well
