Heisman will play itself out, whatever is meant to be is what will happen, he's focused on the weight room and getting better before the bowl game.

Said he's grown in the offense and that even when he made great plays earlier in the season they would point out what he could have done earlier in the play.
Judging from text alone, this kid sounds incredibly humble and grounded. Great to hear.
Never envisioned this season would be so big, didn't know they would have this much success as a team, but after the Florida game they continued to progress and they realized they could hang in this league and they embraced getting better each week.
Trusts that Sumlin knows what's best for him and the team so just followed his plan with the media. It's nice now though to let people know how he is. "Nice to be able to talk to y'all."
Believes he has one of the best offensive lines in the quarterback, priveleged to have those guys, they've adapted to the way that he plays. Have done a phenomenal job and that's something that can't be praised enough.
JFF is very articulate & handles the questions w/confidence...impressive!
I think people are going to LOVE him even more after hearing him handle the press!
Proverbs 10:4 (NIV)
Lazy hands make for poverty,
but diligent hands bring wealth.
Favorite play of the year is the final touchdown against Alabama. Was a complete team play, 11 guys all doing their jobs. Kennedy made a great catch on a perfect corner rout.
Thought his knee was a little tweak and just scared him more than it actually should have probable. Just wanted to come back out and play for the team.
Best non-900 number Aubs has ever dialed into.
Life is very different now, sees himself as a small town kid from Kerrville not as "Johnny Football." Just extremely fortunate, still "shocked" when people come up to him and want to take pictures or whatever.
listening live...great kid. think he'd be even more of a national figure if he had been allowed to talk early in season.
Didn't know what to expect in that first game, never seen the full speed of everything. Was running on pure adrenaline. Came down to earth in the second half. Feels like as an offense they've made incredible strides in the passing game being on the same page. Line is now protecting incredibly well, they've established the run game as the season has gone along.
Time working with Whitfield in California was extremely beneficial, said he worked with Logan Thomas who was an "absolute freak." He believes he's one of the best coaches for a reason. Even when he got back in Texas he talks to him every week.
Thought he overstrided throwing the ball and didn't use his body power so he's worked on a more compact release to get the ball out quicker.
Doesn't know if he would be starting if Sherman were here. Would have been a battle just like this year, can't tell the outcome though.
Florida's defense one of the best they've played no doubt. Great linebackers and great secondary. Extremely quick and really shut them down in the second half.
Coach Scott from Tivy is a major influence on his life, they talk about a lot of things beside football. Has that relationship with Mark Smith (former head coach now at Judson) also. Also talks to Sumlin and Kingsbury, comfortable with that relationship also.
Taj Boyd a guy he likes watching, Geno Smith, Landry Jones, all of those guys. 20-30 guys, Braxton Miller, guys everywhere that are doing incredible things.
Never really intends on freelancing, it's just an instinct that takes over. Would love to take a three step drop and get it out and not worry about running around in circles. Heard in preseason plenty of things they couldn't do as a team, not only him.
People chanting was a testament to how involved people are in the game. It makes you want to pop up and do backflips no matter how hurt you are. Regardless of who it is feels like the place is going to be quiet.
Had a ton of success. Feel like they gave themselves an opportunity to win every game. If he could go back to the florida game he's not sure what he was thinking so doesn't know what he would tell himself.
Chip Brown got a question. Ridiculous
Become much more aware of his surroundings when he's off the field, changed his lifestyle immensely. Said you hear it from Cam Newton and Vince Young, you become more of a homebody. Not that you don't want to go out it's that you just want to relax and stay at home more.
