I don't think coaches should engage in controversial speech about other schools mainly b/c I think they should stay above the masses as a general rule......but, honestly he didn't say anything "trash" worthy.....nothing venomous about his comments other than he thinks College Station isnt' a happening town.
There are many public universities who reside in small towns.....really nothing to see here.

Oh Muschamp's just having fun. I'm happy to hear it.
I'm in Gainesville once or twice a year. I agree with cam that it's certainly no more cosmopolitan than BCS, but it's a great place. Beautiful country and lots of outdoors activities. And while it's a couple hours to the beach, it's in a great location. Covered in oak and pine trees in the heart of horse country, it's fairly centrally located to Tampa Bay, Orlando and Jacksonville. Plus it's pretty equal distance to both the Atlantic and the Gulf.
Aggie fans will love the visit.

I don't understand the CS "smack"
First off the majority of SEC schools reside in towns just like CS from a size, setup, population perspective, pure college town
Second, while there are certain disadvantages the overwhelming advantage for adult life is raising a family, assuming you're conservative folk & want to raise your kids that way. The communitie's safe, very, very friendly overall, churches are great as are the public schools, especially South CS, if you can find work & provide.
For all the "disadvantages", hop on the highway & literally in 45 minutes you can be in the Woodlands or NorthWest Houston, in today's Internet/technological age keeping up with the going ons around Houston is almost as simple as if you lived there without having to deal with the weekly "grind" nor any other unattractive elements cities have
I believe CS of old developed a certain reputation from decades past, & rightfully so, & some haven't come around to realize it's not like that anymore
The new downtown area in CS will be a nice touch & needed, especially for a college town
Maybe posting's just not your game. I know, let's have a spelling contest.
