Well, I will start by saying that Hamm would put up a ton of yards against that secondary. Manziel would throw for about 4 TDs. Problem is, he would also throw 3 picks, while Bloom would continue to pound the rock inside against that subpar DL Hamm is putting up. That will be the difference. Turnovers and ability to run the ball. While hamm puts up the yards, he also turns it over more than Bloom. While bloom won't be quite as explosive, he'll slowly but methodically wear hamms defense out while capitalizing on turnovers.

Blooms team wins.

I also think Campbell is the best option, but was hoping Hamm would forget about injured players. It worked.

Instead of voting, while don't yall make the spring game a fantasy game? Keep track of all the stats and tally them FF style.

I gotta be honest, I can't believe there are so many votes for Hamm, I thought I wrecked this thing with no question.

IMO w/ the new offense in place running clock isn't really a factor, I don't see Bloom having the big plays, Brandon Williams is the only one that really has the ability as well as Kennedy I guess, but I like hamm's defense too much against the run and pass... Hamm's offense is better fit for what sumlin wants I think, and has more big play threats, manziel gets out of the pocket and makes it happen, going with Hamm

Hamm's monologue must have swayed some people.

That is true lol and not taking anything away from him but without the down hill running game I'm interested to see if he has ability to break one wide open, he is a big yard gainer but also picks his holes well and uses blocks... But yeah after that post I questioned myself... Haha

Im conflicted, much moreso than while watching the picks unfold as Bloom was killing it but Hamm gained a lot of steam as it went on. I think given Sumlin's offense Taylor did very well and easily wins the WR vs. DB battle but that's mitigated a lot by Bloom's pass rush vs Hamm's OL and JFF at this point. Overall though much closer than I first thought...

That is a GREAT point. Dusty isn't loved by many, but he has experience while Floyd and Deshazor have played very little (same is pretty much true when comparing the safeties). I think Bloom wins solidly, just not as easily as I first thought. I also think, regarding Hamm's defense, Bloom's OL and RB's would be way too much for Hamm's front 6.5 (with Howard coming up).

We are SEC now so the game is won in the trenches right? So with Blooms offensive line and the face he has the top 3 pass rushers on the team in BA, Demonster, and Porter in the linebacker core. So Jockel can pick up one a play but what about the other 2? The O-line for Bloom you have 3 road graders in the middle. Starting with Pat Lewis who is a beast, Michael and Williams would reak havock because if the D-line doesn't get a push the O-line can get to the second level, if an O-line man gets his hands on a linebacker its over. Hamm does not a have proven pass rusher and going against the line Bloom put together it could be ugly. It doesn't matter if you have the best secondary in the country, because no one can cover someone 1on1 for 6 seconds someone will get open, its a fact of football.
