Perfect Chaos Scenario.....Upset Alert!!!!!!

  • ALA beats their main rival LSU team on the road and Aggies do their business on the road in the shadows against an SEC west team that is almost there talent wise.

ALA will come into this game flat and emotionally drained from their road victory. They can't go a full 8 qtrs of that type of intensity without a drop-off. The big key is going to be in the 1st qtr. The last couple wins for you guys you got off to amazing starts and put SEC offenses under the gun to produce and AT THIS POINT the SEC is known for Defense, not offense. I said on this board in the past, the best thing you have going for you is your O-Line. They can compete against ALA which is dangerous with a very mobile QB. He has to avoid the big hit though (a la McCoy..).

I am putting money on an Aggie Victory for this one. You guys are do for a big win and Sumlin has been a great hire for you guys and we have that picture of Deloss and Mack cuddling. (Shoot me.)

O-Line gets it done this week. 24-21 - Get one for the state.

  • Was only a matter of time before this starter guys.

    "Get one for the state."

"I only hope A&M loses when they play texas."

"You guys made a good hire. Sumlin has y'all competitive. You will do well in the SEC."

"Why can't we cheer for each other. We aren't rivals anymore."

Give me a F'ing break and get lost dude. You aren't wanted here. Sorry we play an exciting style of football and you have a Mack/Deloss love fest going on your sideline.

Win we shall, yes we can, yes we will.

  • I don't think Alabama can come out flat. Saban won't allow for it.

I agree that Bama played an emotional game, but they are a machine. I worry that some of our guys will look at Bama on a pedestal and be shell shocked when they get out there. I hope not, but I could see it happening. If it was at home I wouldn't say that.

Good thing it's not a night game, otherwise it would be crazy. 2:30 is perfect for the upset.

I have posted here multiple times before so I have already arrived and left the party. I like the conversation and I am sure your MODS would want more traffic to the site as that helps them. I guess I should have posted - "Bend over you are about to get f****d by a real SEC team at their place not Kyle Field."

I did not say this "I only hope A&M loses when they play texas." or "Why can't we cheer for each other. We aren't rivals anymore.". Go quote somebody else.

I don't post just to post. Take a compliment and help your program get some respect around the country. Maybe this attitude is a reason you guys have been stuck in a hole for the last 15 years. I am not T-shirt fan and respect the Ags. I am in business with Aggies as well as my dad for years. GO get a win this weekend and quit f*****g acting like you want to be a big time program. Prove it!

    Go Aggies beat Bama!!

Night game would have been tough, but afternoon is ripe for an upset.

  • Our guys were probably back in Cain watching the Bama-LSU game on tv Sat night. Bama didn't get off the field until about 11PM and still had to fly back to Tuscaloosa. After McCarron's emotional breakdown on tv, gotta wonder if they can pull it together to start a big prep week today. Plus, they are going from preparing for a physical run to team, to a up-tempo spread offense. There are definitely some things working in out favor here.

(When LSU was down in the middle of the 4th, I told my son, "I hope they score to go ahead and Alabama comes back to win it on a late drive." If there was ever a scenario for a let-down game against a ranked opponent, this is it.)

  • Play nice guys, I'll take the compliment and hope tu never wins another game. I'd love for everyone in Texas to start pulling for us--doesn't mean we're all of a sudden obligated to give a crap about them

I really don't think our freshmen have no clue that they are supposed to lose this one. Gotta think Matthews, Joeckel, DaMontre, Swope and Porter are juiced to play the best and show something to the NFL scouts. After Florida and LSU slipped away, this is the big shot at a signature win. I think we come out on fire and if Bama comes out flat, they could find themselves down 2-3 td's in a hurry.

Well there is the first stumble out 'the blocks..

But I somewhat agree w what you are posting and appreciate the support. Reasonable UT posters welcome.

I may die if we actually do (somehow) take this game. On the road, in TTown. Against fn Bama.

  • Yeah they made it an ncaa violation to have athlete only housing on campus. A regular student has to have the same opportunity to live in dorms as an athlete. Makes sense so schools can't build mansions for athletes to live in as a recruiting tool

  • Heard anything about Malcom Brown transferring to A&M to play in a man's conference? How many yrs would he have to sit out?

Well there is the first stumble out 'the blocks..

You have no history in the SEC West so LSU at this point has been their chief rival - Auburn less so because of the recruiting dominance ALA has had the last 3-4 years minus the anomaly of Cam Newton.

But....the future is what you want to make it. Ags are at least pointed in the right direction.

  • Dude- Auburn is Bama's fucking "chief rival." What are you even talking about?

Recruiting success? Didnt Auburn have like the #3 class last year or two years ago and has 3 5* this year?

This is not debatable. I'd argue Tenn is #2. LSU and Bama have a recent history of hate but overall I'd bet it's just bc they're both so salty the past 5-6 years.

  • Easy on the sip boys, we should be courteous and thankful for his well wishing, even though we would never reciprocate. Remember that God wills not the death of a sinner, but that he be converted and live.

Jokes aside, underestimating Bama is like kicking a grizzly bear in the nuts, and I'm glad Sumlin doesn't share the attitude of some of the people on the board. I expect the ags to win, but we have to maintain our pace on offense. Florida and LSU beat us by smothering our offense until their offense started clicking, and that's exactly what Bama will try to do. I feel good about our chances because our play calling has improved, I think we can do something special here.

  • Please look at the last 10 years of the AU/UA game.

I think AU is like 7-3 or something, dude.

So, so much fail in your response

  • Who is "underestimating Bama"?

We are basically two TD dogs on the road for a reason.

They're the best team in the country; Ags look better today than 6 weeks ago in this game but odds are pretty slim we walk into TTown and leave with a W.

    Any reasonable person knows this

  • Bama wins pretty easily.

We are banged up and haven't had a bye week yet.
