  • Going with the Aggies! Aggies 27, bama 23

  • If Manziel and the offense don't turn it over, I really think we pull it out. If we turn it over, it could turn into the LSU game. I for one am sick of hearing every Bama fan in Birmingham saying AJ is the best quarterback in college football!

No Turnovers: A&M 27 (missed PAT) Bama 23
    With Turnovers: Bama 30 A&M 20

  • AG's pull off the stunner - 38-10. Yeah Im optimistic. Im going all in for this game, emotionally all the way in, not letting my head get a single argument in......

  • I suck at predictions. I just don't want turnovers! If we play like we're capable of it'll be one hell of a game, but if we turn the ball over a few times it's over. Agree with jarob.

  • 24-14 bammers. Only game all year I've thought we've had almost no chance of winning.

  • Maybe I have too much faith in the coaches, I just think that with the familiarity that has come with the schemes and experience running it by the players they come up with some wrinkle. They don't have to worry about IMPLEMENTING the offense and Defense anymore like they did against FLA and LSU to a lesser degree. Now they can devote their entire time to scheme. I think we see some surprises.

That and I just have a good feeling about this one.

  • A&M 27 ,Bama 24, if and only if A&M starts fast and gets off to lead. I think we run the ball a lot in this game, more than others.

  • Bama 31 - Ags 21

Our running game stalls and we can't stop theirs. Eventually they wear us down. If they shut down our offense early it could get UGLY with a few blown assignments on play action as safeties cheat up.

  • More than anything else the players on field have to "believe" that they can win, it is incumbent upon the coaching staff to drill this into their heads and hearts this week. A&M is about to enter one of the most hostile environments in all of college football and they are bound to have few things go against them, but they have to push through, they have to believe. Even withou the "homer hat" on anyone who has been watching can see this team growing with each passing week, from better decisions by Johnny Football, to an increased balance from the running game, to big stops on the defensive side. This coming week in Bama can go one of two ways and in my humble opinion it is based on how well we take care to the ball, if we have little to no turnovers we actually have a shot, otherwise it goes badly for us. A&M 27-Bama 24 without TO. Bama 38 - A&M 24 with TO.

  • Just being real here:

    Bama 34- Ags 20

I dont like the match-up for us because we've blocked poorly all year longs against a 3 down front and Jesse Williams is by far the best NG we've faced all year. Saban is always always going to game plan to stop the run first and we are, by far, our best when the run game is clicking. They will show the numbers to dictate us to check in to a pass play and then make us beat them passing. Also, they have the athletes to contain manziel like LSU and Fla do. The short passing game is also much less productive against this kind of defense. I think our best shot is to do like LSU did last week and try to move the ball with the pass game but that's a very shaky proposition to hope to beat an Elite defense with the pass game.

On defense, they are as big and physical a group as we will see and although they wont put up the numbers that La Tech did, they will grind out yards on the ground and take time off the clock. I we'll have to overload numbers to stop their run game and hope that McCarron has another off day when he tries to pass.

Honestly I think this game has more to do with how THEY play, coming off that emotional game against LSU. If they come out flat and un-inspired then we have a chance to make it interesting. If they come out playing well and firing on all cylinders, we're in for a long day.

I can respect you being realistic. I on the other hand have no such compunction this week. I am tired of being realistic and am dreaming big.

  • This one is hard. But I think Bama has proven they are human and the Aggies keep getting better and they know it. A&M 31, Bama 24. GIVE US ROOM-- in the Top 10!!!

    Bama 34 A&M 20... Let's ROLL!

    Welcome to the SEC, guys.

  • Bama has not been consistent on offense and not been excellent against the pass, except in getting int's. We have to throw against them, but manziel will need to take what is there and not be afraid to throw it away and punt. We don't need to score 40 to win this one, but we do need to take care of the football. On defense, we have to make them earn it and get off the field on third downs. Need some negative plays on early downs to put them in passing situations.

  • Great analysis, but not sure about Malena.

Hopefully: A&M 28-27 but only if -- no turnovers for A&M, no special teams breakdowns, no big plays by Bama -- and we get a few breaks. (Hey we're due for some luck after what happened in the last decade.)

Realistically: Bama 35-16 We score only 1 TD and 3 FGs. Bama wears us down.

  • analyze this. If LSU had not faked a field goal and gone for a 4th and whatever but kicked instead, different game. If we had hit 2 fg's ( and an extra point) we take out LSU. Bama played a great game but defensively, minus 1 play, tigers seemed better. We faced their defense and scored then shot ourselves in the foot.
If we avoid this, can run over 80 plays with very few if any turn overs, (might get away with one deep in their territory) we can do this.
