What if Jerrod Johnson had eligibility last year and was on the team, and started off the season as the number 2... How many of you would bet RT is benched after the Mizzou game? Bet your ass. And tonight would have never gone down.
Timing is everything. JJ hit his slump it's all over for him. RT cratered mid season and there's no more JJ to swoop in to save the season, coach.

Didn't JJ have shouler surgery that off season? Thought I heard that and his throws looks weak and just all around like shit his last year.

I think what Benny is trying to say is that RT didnt have any legit competition like JJ did
So that when RT did suck ass he didnt have to worry because he knew Sherm wasnt gonna put his ass on the bench for Showers like Sherm did for JJ

There is a good chance Pantyhill doesn't throw 17 picks and loses multiple home games including a boner tu team because he might have not lasted that long.

JJ was far worse than Tannehill ever was and took everything Sherman had to replace him.
I don't think Tannehill ever played bad enough.
