What recruits do you want from UH?? The only three I think we would look at is Jaydrick Declout, Tomme Mark, and Trevon Stewart?
The problem is... Sumlin needs to go after Pennel, Sentimore, Jacobs and the such first. Tomme would only be a back up. But would he feel unwanted then and stay with Houston?
I am okay with DeClout and Stewart. Both have amazing speed. I want to shoot for Wheeler first of course.
If we hire a coordinator that runs a 4 down front then I like Mark a lot as a 3 technique.
He'd be hard pressed to be a great NG in a 3-4 or a DEnd because of his length. I'd still give him a hard look regardless of what defense we run because I think he has upside and we havent set the world on fire this year at Dline recruiting.
He's a quicker guy but gives up a little in size but in a 4 down front you can make a living with guys that are 6'1 or 6'2 @ 290lbs, who have quick feet and play with good pad level.
I'd be ok looking at Jadrick and Trevon if we dont think some of our current WR commits arent going to qualify academically.
