savwa on the LSU247 site said this was just something posted in a tigerdroppings thread that started a twitter rumor. Here's his post about the tigerdroppings thread:
A guy in a thread titled "Name some things you would be okay with that would cause a fanbase meltdown"
Posted this:
"Les Miles resigning on Monday after being discovered to be having an affair with an LSU coed."
Meaning he doesn't like Miles, so even though it would cause meltdown, he wouldn't care.
This was hours before any other mention of it. It was just a random way of saying he didn't care if Miles was LSU's coach.
Then the Internet took off with it because people are stupid.

Everything about Lies Miles has screamed, "douche bag" for his entire career, and I kinda want this to be true (plus, a lot of lsu fans would be getting what they want anyway), and even though that crazy nut bar may cheat on his wife more than daily, unfortunately, it appears that this story is indeed only based on some Internet message board poster's dream and he will not be resigning any time soon.
