Looks like the rest of the SEC is trying to make more in roads into our recruiting territory.
After LSU plays Wisconsin in Houston in 2014, the home of the Houston Texans could be an SEC hot spot in season openers for years.
I think it actually helps us more than any visiting SEC team except possibly LSU. It highlights the fact that the SEC is the dominant conference, and if you are a Texas HS stud these are the type games you want to be seen in and type players you want to play with and against, not the Little Bevo. It's not like the schools involved are going to be making HS campus visits or get commits on the spot at the game. Marketed the right way, it's another nugget for Sumlin to add to an already brimming basket of goods. Add in the fact that TAMU can justifiably vie for their spot in one or more of these games and it is win-win.
Ideally, the Ags would have an annual matchup with a PAC team not named Oregon in the Bayou City Fall Classic to kick off the season. Strengthens the OOC schedule, expands our TV exposure beyond the SEC network in fertile recruiting grounds out west, and gives us more of a platform for being in the preseason conversations on all the networks.
I love it. I want SEC games in Houston every single year. I want the longhorns completely shut out from coverage.

Would love to see the SEC add another location for the SEC Championship game. Switch back and forth between Atlanta and Houston/Dallas. Would make total sense.
