I cannot say i approve of this train of thought fellow Ags, that "The SEC is overrated."

To say such things would cheapen the accomplishments of our players and our coaches; that's not something i am willing to do.

We are painfully thin at certain positions of critical need along the defense. Our players were mentally drained after last year and soft.

This new staff has re-conditioned our football team, physically AND mentally. They've taught our players discipline, how to overcome adversity, and ultimately what it's like to win.

I would instead say that our team has worked hard to prove that we belong in our new home conference, that way we don't minimize the accomplishments of ourselves or others.

it's just so good to shut our critics up with wins in College Footballs toughest division...

They are a tad bit overrated. That's how I knew you guys would win 8 or 9 games. Ppl looked at me as if I was crazy (even Aggies). I told them you have Bama, LSU and everyone else. Another thing about SEC..

When Florida ran the conference they were spread.
Cam Newton?? Spread.
Arkansas?? Spread..
Anytime someone runs a decent spread in the SEC, they are a top team. Anyone with any real sense should have saw this coming.

I don't buy into the ESPN/CBS hype about the SEC.. You guys will be ok.

What other conference can come close to matching Bama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, South Carolina and Texas A&M? I don't see one out there today.

He's doing Amazing actually. Still trying to give up his 4th catch on the season ;-). He's playing safety this year due to injuries. The safety we play is a lot different. He holds WRs like a CB, but 10-12 yds off the ball so he can watch the run mainly since he's the SS. He has like 15TDs this year even after missing the first 2 games. He's has been the best player on the field every game this year.

He has 3 PR TDs, which is amazing the way punters punt away from him. Punters give him 1 maybe 2 punts that he can actually return per game. When he gets it, he breaks it.

On offense he avgs 7 ypc. He avgs 10 carries per game. He is never really allowed to get in a rhythm really and he still has that good avg. 3rd and 16, bring Darrion in. Like last week he had 9 carries for 110 yds.

He's the best player in 2014 this year, and that's after missing 2 A-Days and 2 games worth of practices.. 6 weeks of practice and gelling with the team.

Miss St being ranked is a joke. Scar at 11 is a joke. That's just SEC love. SEC is the best conference, but not by much. Big 12 will pull even or overtake SEC next year. OK ST will be back next year and TCU also..

The only Big 12 team that is better than SCar is KSU. OU might be better. Outside of those two teams, there are no Big 12 teams better than the SEC's 6th best team.

I don't get why people think TCU is going to be good?... Think Houston, they went undefeated last year with Sumlin but even with Sumlin in the Big 12 they would have subpar athletes... They still have to recruit against the same people and without a different pitch from them(big 12), honestly why would any recruit pick TCU over OU or OkSt, I mean even if you live in Dallas it's that far to go... They will be tech-esque competitive when they find a good QB and terrible when they don't but never will compete for the title when tu And OU load back up... And really it cracks me up bcuz without Collin Klein kstate might not even be in the top 25 so that's just going to make the big 12 even worse, they are a conference of mediocrity besides kstate right now
