He also keeps saying that Bama keeps telling him he's the #1 player on Bama's board. This just isn't true IMO. Devall is a great player and I'd love for him to be a Tiger, but I'm not sure he's ahead of Landon, Jordan Jenkins, Tracy Howard, Adolphus Washington, and DGB on Bama's board.

Maybe he's 1st on Bama's most likely to sign with us board.

Your IMO is pretty worthless then bc Tracy Howard is very unlikely to be a part of this class he is a florida lean and we are after Travell Dixon first and foremost, then if we take another its most likely to be Deon Bush or Cyrus Jones. Washington is def a DL and i am pretty sure JJ will end up at DE after his body develops. DGB is a long shot and Collins is a safety so that really only leaves Devall and Kwon at the LB spot left to take and of those 2 Devall actually has the better body for the 3-4.

From reading the article I took that #1 on their board statement the same way the op did.From the way it' s written it sounds like Devall is saying Bama is telling him that he's the top recruit on the board not just the top LB on the board.Either way I don't believe it.No way he's the top brecruit on the board with some of the big names left on Bama's board and I highly doubt he's ahead of Kwon on the LB board.Doesn't matter though in any case.That line is used by every staff in the country.I remember very clearly a cb from FL saying that our staff had him #1 on our board last year when we had 2 cbs already commited and Rasco and Jernigan left on the board.It's just something coaches tell kids.They're 17 year old kids and they believe that crap for the most part.Kind of shows how naive recruits are.

Kwon is not behind Devall on bama's board, I can assure you.

We are splitting hairs here either way. What bama's staff is telling Devall is not true. However, there is no doubt that Devall is high on their board. He is a very good LB recruit (and Saban loves the LB recruits) and he is from LA (and Saban loves to get a player from LA).

I didn't realize DDs Dad was qualified to evaluate practices. Most elite programs run efficient practices. Thats why they are elite. DDs Mom is on record as well saying she wants her son close to home. This one goes down to NSD IMO.

Ftr, most bama fans hate me here cause They consider my posts as negative towards bama. I speak the truth. I give bama and Saban credit when deserved. the entitled and arrogant fans at bama just want their side of the story to be the only side. They don't usually want to hear the truth like if NS is really telling DD he is 1 on their board, it's a flat out lie IMO.
