Season Ticket help from the board needed

  • I don't know anything about season tickets because I'm still a student but I'm looking at getting two season tickets for the upcoming season and I had a couple of questions about it. I'm currently on the waiting list but is there a way to get off of the list and get season tickets? How much would season tickets normally cost? I'm looking for them as a graduation gift for my gf(and secretly myself too). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Build up points by donating $$$$$ and buying tickets. The more money you donate the more points. It has a LOT more to do with how much $$ you give than how long you have been a ticket holder. Did I mention give a LOT of $$$$.

  • Here is what was sent to me at the end of February--

    From: 12th Man Foundation
    Date: Monday, February 27, 2012

Today, the Texas A&M University Athletic Department released the complete 2012 football season schedule, along with season ticket pricing options.  This important announcement allowed the 12th Man Foundation staff to proceed with development of the corresponding 2012 membership renewal campaign.   In appreciation of your committed generous support of the 12th Man Foundation, and Texas A&M football, we are working feverishly to ensure that your 2012 football membership renewal packet is in your hands as soon as possible.  12th Man Foundation members will be notified via email when the online renewal system is active, as well as when your renewal packet ships.

Please be aware, due to the delay distributing membership renewal and season ticket information, we strongly encourage you to renew online at www.12thmanfoundation.com.  Renewals will be made available online before renewal packets are mailed.  The deadline to renew your annual pledge and provide your season ticket order will be May 1, 2012.  Complete payment of your stated pledge and ticket order is due by June 1, 2012.

Please note that a price increase of $50 has been implemented for all ticket options, with the 2012 pricing structure being bench ($450), armchair ($485), club ($520), and suite ($520) tickets.  Implementation of SEC rules regarding visiting team allotments and student seating have reduced the traditional footprint of discount season ticket locations. Discount season tickets will not be renewed for the 2012 season.  However, discount season ticket holders will be given priority should they want to upgrade to full-price ticket options in 2012.

The 2012 season marks the inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) for the Aggies, and the six-game home schedule is highlighted by games against new conference foes Florida (Sept. 8), Arkansas (Sept. 29), LSU (Oct. 20) and Missouri (Nov. 24).  We look forward to experiencing with you, one of the most highly anticipated football seasons in the history of Texas A&M Athletics.

Thank you for your support, and if you have questions about your 2012 12th Man Foundation membership renewal, please email renewals@12thmanfoundation.com or call 1-888-TAM-12TH and one of our staff members will be happy to assist you.

  • I don't know if you guys know but this is how if works at nearly every major college program. Yes $$$$ drives everything just like in any other business.

The only happy Aggie is an unhappy Aggie.

Yeah, I figured it would take a big donation, I was just curious because I really had no clue about season tickets. This was just for me to try and gather some info, thanks to everyone in this thread.
