Sumlin about to be on ESPNU (3:00pm now)

  • said the interview was coming up to discuss the offensive strat.

    just a heads up for those that are able to watch....not sure when exactly the interview is going to show, but it's supposed to be on during this segment.

    said won't win a bunch of 6-3 games.....so offense will need to produce

    ESPN mobile studio is parked inside Kyle right now it looks like

    says excited about SEC (will be challenging), fans are excited, season ticket sales represent that

    SEC will be tough, have to make A&M better before worrying about opponents

    recruiting to have a balanced offense despite throw it around image

    says team is not ready to win a 6-3 football game.....said as talent improves on team the offense might progress to something more in that style of play.

    says C-Mike is looking good, way ahead of schedule, and Sumlin is having to hold him back.

    says offense is more balanced than people think.....

    wants a playoff, but says doing that will be tough if they try to keep the current bowl system with the excitement it brings.

  • i just caught the end of the interview and they were talking/asking him about if he likes the playoff idea and he said he did. i dont know if there is going to be more...
