His AA bio lists Indy as his hometown, auburn can play the 'bama son' all they want, there are no indications he would like to uproot to go back there, hasn't been near there from a living standpoint since 70's

I wouldn't doubt Sumlin's agent fielded a call. Sometimes it's good to test the waters simply to find out what you're worth. But that's where it stops. Sumlin is not taking an interview.
