  • Both Mettenberger and Macarron did not impress me with their throwing accuracy, though Mettenberger improved later in the game, but Manziel has been amazingly accurate throwing. He doesn't miss many targets.

I was surprised at how LSU sucessfully moved the ball against Alabama. If Manziel and co. can execute properly, the Bama defense could be in for trouble. I'm not sure if our defense will be able to stop their RBs.

It will be a problem if you don't mention Manziel's name after a game.

  • Aubs, you referenced the single season total yardage mark... is that for the Texas A&M record?

  • no turnovers and we win this game. I know it is not likely but it will be fun to watch. JFF has to maintain his cool and not get out of control. get rid of the ball on the bad plays and make something happen on the next down or possession. I do not believe that Alabama can get a big lead on our defense so as long as we are patient this game will be within reach in the 4th quarter. maybe our conditioning can find a way to pull us through as these cats have to be a bit spent after the game they played in BR.
