I was in HS in central Texas when Quan and Quincy were at Mart so I follow them pretty close. They also had that other kid who was a Nat 100 LB that signed with Baylor I think. Quan was one of the most dominant HS players I've ever seen. They just toyed with everyone they played.

I did find it sort of interesting though. I'm from South Texas and always remember people calling them the Kingsville "Brohmas"
Obviously much of the rest of the state prefers "Brayhmas". I genuinely never knew that.

Wasn't it Kansas? I graduated HS the same year as them. Garrett? Was that the LBs name?

They had a 6'5" WR that signed somewhere. Didn't think it was Kansas though.
The only CenTex player worth a crap that I remember signing with Kansas was Reggie Duncan from Killeen. He was a beast of a RB but had grade and other issues.

ah yes Mario Kinsey. We were in his district. Awesome dual sport player in HS. One of the few guys to ever qualify out of La Vega HS. Of course he only lasted a year at Kansas before getting kicked off the team.
