If I need to take down what I said, I will. But I didn't attack the kid or his talent level. I actually think he would be a really good fit in this offense and am upset he is visiting Baylor because I want him to come here. That said, I suggested sending it to him in hopes that he, like some of our other recruits, would either say, yes I am committed and I will stop taking visits, or no, I'm not committed, I still need to look around.

Man, I love Sumlin. I'm so glad we have a coach who plans on finally allowing A&M to fully drop it's nut sack on the SEC!! I mean come on, we are the sixth biggest university in the U.S. and we can't get the players we want. It's so telling in the way he exudes confidence. The only way to change the losing culture that we have here is to have confidence that no matter what, we are gonna go into this with enough swagger to knock every opposition's block off! 8+ wins next year... chalk it up..

I hope most of you can finally come to terms that Sumlin plans to run a version of the Air Raid at A&M. There's no basis to the speculation that Sumlin will return the offense he ran at A&M or the one-back offense he ran at OU. I am extremely happy that he's sticking to what got him the job: a modified Mike Leach-type scheme. No sense in changing what works, especially if you can get the talent to run that type of system in an elite fashion.
