What is Friday Night Lights about?

This is a subject that burns my ass crisp. Monday I called to find out if we were really going to Market FNL as it seems Sumlin wants this as a showcase event. I called Marketing to offer a suggestion that we have the Band, the Dance team, and the Yell Leaders to treat this as a gameday experience just as Sumlin has said he wants it to be. To my dismay after holding for 1 mi and 19 seconds, I was informed this was not a Marketing situation and anything to do with FNL was being handled by a person in Student Affairs. I was transferred only to reach a voicemail, and haven't heard a word since.

A number of us believe that we are not marketed properly or aggressively and this is the proof in the pudding. From my 35 years in business there is no way I would hire anyone that is involved in the business side of aTm, and quite ironic that we have 1 of the best Business Schools in America but are so poor in the operation of the "Sales and Marketing" arms of this University. This to me once again reinforces why we have lagged behind, fallen further behind, and appear irrelevant to the general public. To go along, who allowed AO to make those T-Shirts as part is apparently a situation that has licensing implications, we once again become an Aggie Joke, and to make it worse it goes Natl. Like the man said "What a putz".

This man could have me NFL ready in one week, at least it feels that way!

Love it. Love the attention to detail, that he's having guys jam the shat out of guys at the line in drills, the southern drawl, and that I can see why he can recruit.
