I don't doubt you, I'm just thankful we're in the greatest conference. Our offense could give them a hard time if it's fast enough and our qb plays well. How is UF's offense? How's their speed? Can't wait to make a game in Tuscaloosa.

I dont see their offense being anything special but with Brent Pease from Boise calling plays down there he has a heck of alot more talent than he did at BSU, so I guess anything can happen. Their major STR will be on D. Their linebacking core will be pretty good and their DB's have a chance to step up. If you believe in the star system for recruiting Uf should have no problem challenging for the weaker East. I think that UGA will be their only hurdle. Their speed is always good and that will never change. The problem that they are facing is a changing of complete system yet AGAIN. I think TAMU has a legit shot to win but it will be tough. As anything in the SEC goes it will depend on how well they work out the early season bugs. Yall are lucky to be playing them with more than likely a healthy roster because it will be so early in the season. We are all pumped about TAMU being in ttown. Im not so sure about how that game will go but I know its a new territory for TAMU but trust me the benefits of the SEC are great.

If all goes to plan and our new JUCO transfers fill our DB spots we should be eyeing Miami this year. As with anything to do with football it will depend on Injuries and how well the young guys progress. After watching our Spring game over and over and breaking it down I really dont see much of a let off. People dont understand how good that 2011 Bama defense was. Def in the running for top 5 all time IMO. I say we probably average 35 PPG and allow 12-14 AVG. No doubt the road to the BCSNC will go through LSU or Bama in the west again this year. LSU will be playing an untested QB and breaking in some new talent on D this year. With Les calling the shots that could work out great or be a giant mistake.

SEC is no different than any other high level football. The OL and DL and help your team look better than they really are. Great DL make average DB's look good. Great OL make average RB's look great too. TAMU speed will not be a problem but depth and lines will get eaten alive in a full year of SEC play. you have to be 2-3 deep on both sides to make it though an SEC season, especially an SEC west schedule. The west is crazy good right now and it doesnt seem to be changing. One thing that works in TAMU favor is the Bobby Petrino thing. If TAMU works hard they could pick up alot of momentmum if Arkansas falls off.

Ill tell you like it is. You dont have to have crazy speed to win in the SEC. Yes speed always helps. It all boils down to technique and rotation. You cant make very many mistakes because you will be exposed quickly. The best coaches in the nation are in this conference and they will learn your every single move and attack. Your rotation and depth is key. You cant have very much let off from the first unit to the 2nd because most of the time you will need them for the entire game. Rarely are games over at half time. If you notice alot of Alabama's games last year were not blow outs until the 4th quarter and thats because the 1st units in the SEC are all competitive. The 2nd unit when the game is wore down is where the points are scored and wills are broken.

I think we're an average team this year too. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to climb the ranks over time though, as arkansas did. We have a much bigger alumni base, more money, a better recruiting base, etc. than arkansas, so you'd think we'd be able to accelerate the process a little bit
