2013...It's always easier to get in on recruits early than close late. Signing 35 guys in a class is tough. Doing that and filling the last spots in the class with top recruits is pretty ridiculous.

The way this year is finishing.
The recruiters have filled in the gaps we need, and they put together a good recruiting class. Now they are landing the big fish. Those that weren't expected 10 wins and a Heisman campaign ago.
Next year is a direct extension of this year. Their success in landing those top recruits, plus the small class size next year, have led top recruits to sign early. They know we have limited space abord the JFF train in 2014.
Now we just need to see the administration pony up to keep this group together. They are basically a dream team of coach/recruiters, and they could make us fantastic for the next decade ... but only if we pay them to stay.
