Stricklin, the new AD at Miss St, is doing a much better job, and its not like Byrne has set the world on fire at UA

I liked the Mullen hire...though I'm not familiar with what all he has done for them

Impressive resume for Mack Rhodes. I wasn't all that impressed seeing he has two years at UH but he did some good things at akron.

On a side note, it's funny that the 60% grad rate for athletes beat the normal student rate by 25% according to his bio.

You can't be serious...

1. When Texas or Alabama hire a new AD, it is highly unlikely it is going to be anybody from their own athletic dept. They will do a national search and hire an AD with a proven record of hires, major decisions, facilities improvements, etc. at a major school.

2. We are now an SEC school and we have been a Top 15 athletic department overall for several years in a row now. Why do we want someone no one else in the Top 25 athletic departments would even consider? (for example - UTA just hired an associate AD from Texas as their new AD - most of the associate AD's at Texas, Ohio State, etc. are probably going to get a job at a mid-major for their first AD job).
