I think it's good too & will finish good
great is something you don't throw around lightly which is reserved for classes that finish in the Top 5

Pretty much every team in the country doesn't have a commit at a few positions. So is no ones class great at this point? For this stage in the game(yes it's still early despite what others have you believe, LSU has 9 commits, bama has 11, ou has 6, for examples), the class looks pretty great from where I'm standing.
Still a long ways to go to keep it great and it will be tough to do so, but for now, IMO it is.

It's not much different than last years, I'll give you that. But last years was much, much better at this stage in the game than normal classes too. Don't kid yourselves into thinking we are always like this, we haven't normally recruited like 2012 and 2013. 2010 was good, 2008 was good(though not as good as 2012 and the start of 2013 so far), but 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2011 were no where close to these. These past two classes have a chance to be our best back to back classes since I've been following recruiting.

Last year's was small but good in terms of quality
2008 & 2009 were average, 2010 was good (barely) & 2011 was poor although I think there will be some players that come from that class, Raven, DeShazor, Alexander & Matthews to name a few, but make no mistake, it was a poor overall effort

i've gotta agree with Benny... I think this is the case each year though. It happens to every school (pretty much)... It's recuriting and the nature of the beast. If we got everyone into school that committed Dennis would still be here...

We are in good shape with a few good players, but a good number of the offers we have out are longshots or dogfights we havent fared well for in the past. And this is with year 1 in the SEC looming. Its time to turn up the heat on some of these kids with offers and start looking to camps this summer to uncover some hidden gems.

Good summary- good class but need to start getting some new commits on board, specifically on defense- DT and S look good but everything in between needs help, especially LB.
